Sadly,  due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, Inspiration Dance will not be hosting its 2019-2020 summer dance camp. 
However, we have created virtual content for students with all arts ranging from writing to dance! Check it out below.

SUMMER CAMP!

The Inspiration Dance Performance Camp is a completely free summer intensive designed for dancers ages 4 to 16 years of age. Available to all dancers, from Beginner through Advanced.  Participants will be exposed to a concentrated curriculum during the one-week session at the Sonia's World of Dance center, near Galleria Houston. Each day includes a Ballet, Hip Hop, Jazz technique class, lunch break, and an extra class in a range of genres including: African Dance, Leaps and Turns, Improvisation, Stretch/Core, Asian Dance, and Health/nutrition. The camp will wrap up with a performance for parents at 4:00, June 7th to showcase all the children have learned throughout the week.
Lunch is provided. Students must bring their own snacks and water.

Requirements

Students that attend this camp must fall under one of the following categories:

• Qualify for free and reduced lunch
• Have trouble paying for dance camps
• Household funded by only one income
• Under-represented minority
• You must live in a part of Houston that does not have direct access to dance
• Other (must be clarified)
